My Story.

Hello, Hello! So if you've gotten to this point, you might have some idea of who I am or what my blog might be about. But regardless, here is little about me!

My name is Lauren and I am a 20 year dietetic student at Buffalo State who couldn't be more happy at where I am in my life! I am so passionate about what I am studying that it makes everyday a good day! I discovered this passion when I was young but didn't know until I was older that I could make a career out of wanting to help people live a healthy and happy life! If you know me at all,  I am not the most outgoing person in the world.. but if you get me talking about nutrition and working out, you'd probably change your mind. I never thought about writing a blog and talking about myself but my BEAUTIFUL and inspiring friend Kaitlyn O'rourke talked me into starting one and I am so so SO glad she did! If you want to know more about Kaitlyn, Shakeology, Beach Body, T25 and way more check her out!! Kaitlyn's Blog! She has got me so excited to talk about what I LOVE and am passionate about, to people who actually WANT to hear me rant!

I can't wait for you guys to join me on my journey to becoming an RD!

I'm 20 years old and I feel so confident in where my life is headed and here's why.

I believe in love and true friendship and I have found those things in places I never thought I would! I met my absolute best friend and the love of my life at a community college I was very reluctant to go to. Aaron and Bethany encourage me every single day to pursue my dreams and to follow my heart and they are two of the most caring, compassionate people I know. Without their support, I don't know if I could have gotten through the past couple of years.

And, of course my baby! This is my Meeko :) I've had him for over a year now and he puts a smile on my face every single day. I didn't know I could love an animal as much as I love this sweet boy.

~

I'm not the person I want to be yet and I will openly admit that to every single person I meet. But I'm okay with that because it means I have to learn how to get there. The biggest thing that I want to change about myself/my life is my confidence. I want to be able to stand up in a room full of hundreds of people and be confident in how I look and what I am saying. That is a HUGE part of being successful in my career and I'm hoping that by talking and blogging about myself and my studies, I gain a little more each day.
